Description: Provide expertise in streamlining the business management systems of
companies incorporating manufacturing, distribution, supply chain, and
e-commerce capabilities by way of analysis, management of design and implementation
of systems technology. Analyze business requirements, current business processes and
legacy systems; advise clients on effective streamlining of business systems including
supply management, inventory management, materials flow, warehousing, staff training,
logistics, security, manufacturing processes, etc. Conduct presentations to build and
validate functional design; develop technical and functional knowledge and skills specific
to the ERP software selected; work with team to develop functional design specifications for
reports, forms, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and custom capabilities; identify
data to be used in testing, and document expected results vs. actual results; assist with
systems testing and with conducting go-live cutover activities; conduct user training;
provide systems support; manage the scope, resources, schedules for each project.
Required: Master’s or foreign equivalent degree in Industrial Engineering
plus at least 2 years experience in Logistics Management in a manufacturing/distribution
environment. Must have at least 2 years experience (which may be simultaneous with 2 years
required above) with ERP systems integration, implementation of lean manufacturing principles
(Kan Ban, 7 Wastes, 5S, FIFO, Just-In-Time & perpetual inventory), inventory management,
capacity planning, production activity control and forecasting, distribution and supply chain
management, MRP (materials resource planning).
